Mathew Hurdman

Personal Trainer

My career began in Health and Fitness aged 20 when I qualified to be a Personal Trainer. Previously I played professional football, during which I have worked with and learnt from some of the UK’S leading sport professionals. I have a great understanding that every individual’s body is unique. I will examine your fitness history and create tailor made sessions to help you make improvements you never thought possible. I will look at your lifestyle and
deliver a programme that is truly bespoke to you, using a variety of training methods alongside a vast range of gym equipment, all with the end result giving you a stronger, healthier and more athletic body.

Nutrition also has a huge impact in aiding you to achieve your personal goals; there are many reasons for this. Wanting to ensure I can offer my clients a wealth of knowledge, I’m currently studying to become a Clinical Nutrionist. Offering expertise over and above a majority of Personal Trainers this will enable me to evaluate your nutritional lifestyle. Advising and supporting you throughout, I can additionally offer you a range of programmes to lose weight, increase energy levels, improving general health and well-being and more. My passion for helping people has taken me down the rehabilitation side of Health & Fitness. Training on your body has its physical demands, to ensure you maintain a consistent training plan, it is vital that you look after your body.

Being a Sports Massage Therapist, I can also include effective long term relieve from pain and sports injuries. Sports Massage is a deep tissue massage, which aims to manipulate the muscles, stretch out the fascia and work remedially to ease tightness and restrictions.
